The camp is a good source for T4 performers, armorers, tanners, carpenters, and cooks. Might be worth trying to get a few and levelling them until you get some half-decent perks. I had a couple decent berserkers and dalinsia but all of them have such shitty damage multipliers. Highest I've gotten with any of them is 26% I leveled up like 5 dalinsia which took a lot of time in my opinion to level up.

There is a big ass tree outside the Dawn Gate of the unnamed city, just north west of the Hand statue where the rivers branch into two. Plenty of sunshine. There are also some large ass trees in the crowngrove, north of Sepermeru. Rain and lightening is only in the Jungle Biome.
