The one extra thing you need to download and add to that steam deck folder is d3dcompiler_47.dll - - there's a download link in that same youtube video.

Just delete the dxd9/dxd11 DLL file in your game folder. That should disable it. If you want, you can also delete the “dxgi” file and the reshade folder, but it’s not necessary. Thanks!
