The overcharge effect is also nigh-useless against bosses. The best thing about this NP, though, is the party debuff clear. Party debuff clears are actually quite rare, and Shiki’s Arts focus and pretty good NP gain means she can use it fairly regularly. This can be quite helpful for certain challenge quests.

It’s absolutely valid to worry about what Altria’s release means for the game going forward, but I think it’s a little too early to panic. All-in-all, Altria is ludicrously powerful. Shiki’s kit isn’t especially flashy, but it has everything she needs to be a great Arts-flavored boss-killer. ST damage is pretty much all she has to offer, but with Tamamo/Waver (or other Arts supports/semi supports), Shiki can do a lot of damage in a fairly short amount of time. tl;dr: Shiki can kill servants.
